We also focus on TEAM and FAMILY here at Willow Fork Swim Team—that goes for both the swimmers and the parents. It’s extraordinary to see swimmers of all ages helping each other stay safe, get stronger, and also cheering one another on. This is something unique to our team, and we are proud of it! Because our team is 100% volunteer run, the parents also work together as a team to coordinate the swim meets for our swimmers. Please note this customary in all leagues in our area. By the end of the summer, we are a Gator Family!

Our VAST AGE RANGE makes us special! We welcome swimmers ages 4-18. Younger swimmers may participate in our non-competitive program where they master pool safety and learn swimming basics, while swimmers ages 4-18 participate (must be 4 by May 1st) in our competitive program where they master various strokes and participate in approximately 4 swim meets.

The season culminates at the end of June with the Meet of Champs and the All Star Meet where the fastest swimmers from WHALe are able to compete with one another.

The swim season at Willow Fork may seem short, but it sure has a lasting memory. Between all the awards, the team pictures, the end of the year party, the meeting of new and old friends, and the volunteering that is so vital for the swim team to survive, it is a special place where you will want to return, summer after summer.
