PARENT VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS AND PENALTY AGREEMENT

It is the mandate of the Willow Fork Gators Swim Team (WFGST) that all parents actively participate in the team’s swim meets. If you register your child to swim, you will be expected to volunteer a minimum of 3 volunteer duties per family during the swim season, with an additional duty per child, when more than one child is registered, with a maximum of 5 duties per family. Please note, the total number of required duties may be increased on an as-needed basis.  To access the duties you signed up for at registration go to the CALENDAR page.  Next, scroll down through the calendar to find the swim meets.  Look on the right-hand side; you will see oval, green 'OPEN' buttons.  Under that, click on 'Job Sign-Up'.  Select/edit your job(s).

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

  • Each family is required to fulfill all of their volunteer duties. A family’s volunteer commitment may be fulfilled by any adult member of the family or friend.
  • Volunteers must check-in before the meet and check out after their assigned duty is complete with the volunteer coordinator(s) in order to receive credit for their duty.
  • If you cannot perform your volunteer duty, it is your responsibility to find a replacement and inform the volunteer coordinator(s).
  • Each volunteer must complete their entire assigned duty. In some cases, your swimmer will be finished with the meet before your duties are completed.
  • Every effort is made to keep your first choice of volunteer duties, but know that they can be adjusted throughout the season in order to fulfill the duties of each meet.
    • VOLUNTEER PENALTIES
  • Parents who do not fulfill their volunteer commitment will be assessed a $250 fee. 
  • Families that do not fulfill their volunteer requirement more than once will not be eligible to register with WFGST the following swim season.
  • Please initial each statement below:
